HIKING POEM OCTOBER 2015
WHEN I WAS HIKING UP THE CATSKILLS AND I SAW RAIN CLOUDS
AND I SCRAPED MY KNEES ON A ROCKY LEDGE, AND___ACROSS THE MASSIVE FIELD I SAW A LIGHTNING BOLT AND ALSO A HUGE RAINBOW
WHEN I STARTED TO RUN, AND I WHEN AS FAR AS MY LEGS CARRIED ME I WAS EXCITED BUT I TRIPPED AND FELL----SO THIRSTY NOW. I DRANK COCNUT JUICE NOW, AND GAZING THROUGH THE DARK TREES
I KNEW THAT IT WAS TIME TO HEAD BACK TO THE CITY!
WHERE ARE MY FRIENDS? IN THE CITY WHERE ALL THE ACTION AND THE ART? WHAT IF I WANT TO CHECK OUT SOME COOL NEIGHBORHOODS.
NOT UP IN THE WOODS AND ROCKS, MOSSES AND WEEDS———
I DRIVE BACK TO THE CITY AND I NEED THE ENERGY, NOW MORE THAN EVER. A THIRST NO GATORADE OR PARTY DRUG CAN EVER SATISFY
(LET ME JAM! I WILL JAM U OUT ON THIS ART S* NOW AND FOREVER, ESPECIALLY W/ MY NYC LIFE) IM CALLIN UP ALL MY FRIENDS RIGHT NOW.
